Looking back at Woodstock on film
New York Times critic David Kehr reviews films about the Woodstock music festival, which was held New York state 40 years ago this year.
He deals with all aspects of the landmark cultural event in a review of Woodstock: Three Days of Peace & Music: Ultimate Collector’s Edition, the reissued 1994 “director’s cut” version (in Blu-ray) of the 1970 documentary Woodstock. He also talks about Antonioni’s Zabrikie Point (1970), which is reissued this month too.
