Eastwood will be guest of honour at the Festival and patron of the retrospectives of the work of Sergio Leone and Don Siegel (both of whom he dedicated his film Unforgiven to).

The African Queen (John Huston, 1952)

The John  Wilson character played by Eastwood in White Hunter Black Heart (1990) is directly modelled on director John Huston in the making of his film The African Queen. White Hunter Black Heart will be screened at the Comoedia on Friday 16 October at 19:30, followed by The African Queen.
