The Festival team

The Festival, organised by the Lumière Institute, has been made possible by support from the Greater Lyon government and the Rhône-Alpes Region.  It is also sponsored by the Rhône General Council, the city of Lyon, the French culture ministry and the National Cinematography Centre.

The Lumière Institute is a non-profit organisation set up in 1982 and headed since then by French filmmaker Bertrand Tavernier.
